    Northwest Iowa cities put final touches on RAGBRAI plans          
     
    Day One of RAGBRAI will see roughly 25,000 riders, friends and family members descending upon Orange City, then riding to Spencer. Handling that onslaught of people means preparations are high in those two towns. While organizers in both say things are on track, volunteers are still needed in a final push.

    Spencer, population 11,233, is the largest overnight city on the weeklong ride this year. Spencer Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bill Campbell has had a hand in lining up the needed 500 volunteers for the expected 20,000 bicyclists and as many as 10,000 others. Keep Reading
